We are feeling a bit weary today after a trip to Devon yesterday (Torquay) yesterday to deliver 10 pieces of furniture to a very good customer. It was a 600 mile round trip but we had time for some r&r on the prom (see photo). It was so warm there was even a brave swimmer in the sea!
Today the decorators are in the cottages as we aim to get everything re decorated before Easter. The outside of all the buildings has been finished.

Today there is some good news & some bad news from Hafod Farm.
Good news: Silky mum has appeared with her chicks for the first time & they are very cute, like little cotton wool balls, may they survive & thrive for a long time.
Bad News: Our 4 insane ducks who prefer the roadside to their purpose built pond have actually managed to cross the A470, luckily without incident. So today they are being re homed with a friend of mine who owns a very isolated farm well away from any roads. I will miss the ducks (who I raised from the incubator) but I won't miss the anxiety of watching them trail up the drive towards the road!!
