Furniture Photo Shoot News:
Last week we had Steve from 'Artnoir' over for a marathon photo shoot that took hours but seems to have been well worthwhile. We like his style & think it adds a certain something to our range. Please let us know what you think.
On Saturday we discovered on of our dear silky hens sitting in the holly hedge on 13 chicks, why didn't have them in the chicken house we don't know but they are lovely....all different colours and types as she seems to have added lots of other eggs to her own. I will blog with her news & photos tomorrow.
Tonight we are recovering from our mammoth England tour of yesterday, meeting customers and delivering furniture, I wish we had recorded our mileage but we forgot!, suffice to say, we saw more of England in one day than we have seen in twelve years!

Hello campers, cottage dwellers & furniture customers, today was such a lovely day we decided to take some of the furniture outside & try some photography.......we know we need to improve the quality of our photos for the website & next week I will be taking advice from a local camera shop ans a professional camera shop to see which route we take.
Yesterday I visited a craft fair in Llanrwst looking for new suppliers to the showroom, I saw some lovely hand made bunting, cushions and aprons from local companies & will place the orders next week.
On the family front, Mahi went back to Manchester yesterday to begin her third term and her first year exams, I will miss her and her sparkyness around the place. She is always a great help when she's at home & she knows the ropes now from changeovers, taking bookings, putting caravans on, selling in the shop, buying at auctions etc.....we wish her all the best in her exams & look forward to having her home again soon.

Well the Easter bank holiday seems to have gone off well (except for the weather) I feel like I should apologise to all our campers for it, luckily most of them were in caravans, with central heating, but there were some hard core ones with just their sleeping bags & a tent !!!! BRAVO to you all.
The highlight for me was the Easter egg hunt on Sunday with Mahi & her friend Arpita in charge of 14 chocolate egg hungry, under 8's. Some parents were present & ensured fair play, the clues were found & all the children went away happy (unlike last year where it all got a bit over competitive & we had a few tears!!!)
The shop & cafe are slow to start, but all the cakes sold or were sampled, by Pete & I in the interest of product knowledge ha ha !!!! I now understand why there is always a queue outside the cake shop 'cwmni cacen gri' thank you so much Julie & Jo for such amazing treats.

Happy Easter from Hafod Farm: The coffee shop opened yesterday & the Easter cup cakes have been big sellers, we have had a steady stream of children in clutching their coins & taking them back to their caravans. The touring site is full (mostly regulars who come every Easter) it's lovely to catch up with them & see the children grow up.
Tomorrow Mahi & her friend Arpita are planning an Easter egg hunt for the under 8 year children, I have got lots of chocolate eggs in & about 300 normal eggs for the egg painting competition afterwards.
Today we launched our own range of cushions & soft furnishings. We have a gingham & floral range and a willow & cream range.....hope you like it.
I will post some photos tomorrow of the fun & games
